NEW LOOK REMIX MAGAZINE
We thought it was time to refresh the creative direction of Remix. Check it out if you haven't already seen it. Their biggest issue ever is over 300 pages featuring, stunning NZ and international fashion, features on Hot Hollie Smith and her amazing new album, and so much more. With a new masthead, reworked size format, paper stocks and finishes, its a great looking issue.

CYBÉLE WINTER 2010 CAMPAIGN
Friends of Design have recently teamed up with the incredibly talented New Zealand fashion designer to produce a standout campaign for her 2010 Autumn / Winter collection. The campaign features imagery shot by New Zealand based Photographer Olivia Hemus and styling by chris Lorimer. Friends of design produced a range of posters, postcards, brochures magazine ad's and a website redesign. www.cybele.co.nz

The latest Black Magazine has just hit the streets. Here's a sneak preview of whats inside... including Top International models - Constance Jablonski, Hannah Holman, Heidi Mount & Siri Tollerod, shot in New York, exclusively for Black Magazine by photographer Michael Schwartz. Black is 11 issues young... and this issue is a stunner. Check out some hand drawn typography & bold Art Direction in there by Ian Ferguson of Friends of Design. 4 covers... wow!

ABSOLUT VODKA Art Direction
Friends of Design recently got involved with Absolut Vodka, for part of their global campaign. 6 local Auckland Artist were commissioned to create a unique piece of art for Absolut's new positioning statement. 'Doing things differently leads to something exceptional' in an Absolut world. Each artist was given one of the words and an open brief. Friends of Design drew the word 'something' out of the hat, and created an exceptionally limited edition poster. Printed on 350 gsm paper, using metal effects software to create a shimmering silver effect beneath the abstract letters. An over all Matt Laminate and contrasting high build spot gloss UV on areas of the image. All finished up with a Glow in the Dark spot UV. Trim size 640w x 900h. There are only 200 of these in existence, 150 of which were given out on the event launch night. So that leaves 50! They are hand numbered & signed by Ian Ferguson of Friends of Design. Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2009. Art Direction & Design
That's right its Fashion Week time again in Auckland NZ, and once again Friends of Design produced this years issue of THE GUIDE magazine, which hit the shelves just before the event kicked off. If you visited ANZFW this year, you should have had one of these in your goody bag. Also this year we rolled out the Dirctory for the event, & the Daily Newspapers that come out.... daily at the event.

Lisa Hoskin Jewellery. Art Direction & design
We have just finished up on the Lisa Hoskin Jewellery Campaign for 2009. The brochure has come out stunning. Printed on Mohawk uncoated paper stocks, with etched embossing, and a crafty fold away stock listing in the back, it is a must have. The theme for the range is L'Artista' (the Artist) and this was a large part of the brief for us. The roll-out including: Posters, postcards, magazine ads and website.

The new issue of REMIX magazine is in stores. Friends of Design & friendly guest designer Jaimiee Clapham have pulled together another top issue. Jaimiee is going be on board working on the design of the mag from now on... so look out for some freshness in there.
